Hold onto your Britches, we have a Cranberry Mojito recipe coming your way!!

Ahh!  Fall and comfort food go hand in hand, but nothing is more enjoyable than savoring your favorite dish with an amazing cocktail. This cranberry mojito works so well as a festive appetizer cocktail or paired with your main course.  We like to call this our healthy cocktail made with cranberry juice, honey simple syrup, muddled limes and fresh mint leaves.  What more can you ask for, this cocktail is really perfect for that late night calming indulge or a cheery gathering.  All we have left to say is...Enjoy!

How to Make It: (Makes 1)

  • 5 Large, Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 of a Lime, quartered
  • 1 oz (or 1 shot) White Rum 
  • 1 oz (or 1 shot) Cranberry Juice (we like R.W. Knudsen brand)*
  • 1 Tbsp Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup 
  • Crushed Ice
  • Splash of Club Soda
  • Mint Sprig, Sliced Lime and Fresh Cranberries for Garnish

Muddle (or mash) mint leaves and lime quarters in a tall glass, give about 8 firm presses.  Fill glass with crushed ice, then add rum, cranberry juice and Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup.  Stir well.  Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a mint sprig and lime slice.  Float some fresh cranberries on top and enjoy!

*Be careful in purchasing cranberry juice if you want to keep this drink sugar free, high fructose corn syrup is in lots of store shelf brands.
