Mint Mojito

Fresh mint?  Muddled limes?  Rum, club soda and Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup?  Yes, please..I'll have two!  A fresh Mojito is perfect in the Spring, Summer, Fall...who are we kidding?  Drink Mojitos any season you want, they're delicious! And simple to make, all you need is a muddler (or any kitchen utensil with a rounded edge--use a whisk or dough roller) and crushed ice.  Trust me, crushing your own ice is well worth the effort for this drink!


How to make it - serves 1

  • 12 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 of a Lime, quartered
  • 1.5 Ounces White Rum (1.5 shots)
  • 2 Tablespoons Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup
  • Crushed Ice
  • Splash of Club Soda
  • Mint Sprig and Lime Slice for Garnish

Muddle (or mash) mint leaves and lime quarters in a tall glass, give about 8 firm presses.  Fill glass with crushed ice, then add rum and Hudson & Lee Honey Simple Syrup.  Stir well.  Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a mint sprig and lime slice.  Enjoy!
